The registrations will close at the end of the qualification round. For details and timings regarding the qualification round, kindly refer to the schedule.

The same institution from which you have recently passed out will be considered, provided you haven't taken up your new academic career or employment. For further queries on this, you can reach us at [email protected].

SnackDown 2021 will be an Individual competition due to the ongoing pandemic situation. With the current restrictions of maintaining social distancing, we deemed it imprudent to conduct the contest in a team set-up. While we feel that team collaboration makes Snackdown a unique event, we believe it’s safer not to risk the health and safety of our participants.We will revert back to team based competition in the next iteration of SnackDown.

In order to take part in the qualification round, you need to be registered for SnackDown, preferably well in advance (to avoid the last-minute rush) before the start of the qualification round. Once you are registered and logged in with your individual CodeChef ID, head over to the contest page: https://www.codechef.com/SNCKQL21. and start submitting.

Firstly, make sure that you are logged in with the correct CodeChef ID. Then check if the contest has started. If you still do not see the problems, get in touch with us immediately at: [email protected] We will help you with the issue.

All the participants in the top 1500 ranks from Round 1A and top 1500 ranks from Round 1B will be qualified for the pre-elimination round.

If you are in the top 1500 ranks from Round 1A or Round 1B you are automatically eligible for the pre-elimination rounds. Additionally, we will also be sending an email to all the selected participants.

Top 500 participants and additional 80 reserved slots will be moved to the elimination round from the pre-elimination round.

All the participants who miss the top 1500 cut-off in the 1st online round 1A will still be eligible for the second online round 1B. However, if you have already qualified for the pre-elimination round, you will not be allowed to take part in the 2nd online round 1B round.

Anyone with a knack for programming, and an internet connection.

Employees of Unacademy/CodeChef or any of its business verticals can take part in the contest, but they will not be eligible for the Global & Indian cash prizes.
